Beer And Spirits Begin In The Dirt
Please indulge us for a moment as we show off some photos of our new “babies.” The planting season at Rogue Farms is almost over and the growing season has just started.
From these small plants – in some cases less than an inch high – will come the ingredients you’ll soon be tasting in a Rogue beer, spirit, cider or soda. This is why we say, beer and spirits begin in the dirt.
We’ll plant the last of this year’s crops, our Rogue Farms jalapeños, in June.
There’s not much else we can do for our new plantings, except to keep them well watered. But as we get further into the growing season, the more we are at the mercy of Mother Nature. As farmers, we’ve learned to accept these risks.
So come out to Rogue Farms and see for yourself our new farm “babies.” The pictures may be cute, but nothing beats the real thing.
